Ocean4Biotech is finally happening in Malta!

Ocean4Biotech – European transdisciplinary networking platform form marine biotechnology.
Ocean4Biotech 4th MC meeting and WG workshops will be finally happening in Malta from Tuesday 07th to Thursday 09th of September 2021 at the InterContinental Hotel. The event is confirmed to be of a hybrid nature with 35 people confirming their physical attendance whilst 50 people will participate virtually. During the meeting strategies and plans for next year will be discussed.
The scientific network is funded by COST Association, an inter-governmental organisation that has been promoting the exchange of scientists, academics and policy makers since the 1970s. Dr. Ana Rotter from the National Institute of Biology (Slovenia) has been coordinating this initiative.
The overall aim of Ocean4Biotech is to bring together experts in the field of marine biotechnology to provide a platform for sharing experience, knowledge and technologies, as well as to design a roadmap for a more efficient and rapid development of marine biotechnology research in Europe and beyond. The association has brought together more than 150 professionals from 39 different countries and from various disciplines, including chemical, biological, biochemical, legal and many other experts.
Ocean4Biotech meeting will be hosted by AquaBioTech Group, an international consulting, engineering and R&D company with over 20 years of experience in aquaculture, fisheries and other aquatic sciences. Located in the center of the Mediterranean on the island of Malta, although operating globally with clients and projects in over fifty-five countries. The vast majority of the organisation’s work is related to the marine or aquatic environment, encompassing aquaculture developments, market research/intelligence through project feasibility assessments, finance acquisition, project management, technology sourcing, technical support and training.
